Set Up Team
Would you enjoy making sure your church service is set up efficiently to receive members and guests for worship? -Set up team may be the perfect place for you to serve and grow! Faithful men and women are needed to rotate one Sunday per month to set up/break down classrooms, kiosks, and stage at NT . In addition you would be needed to pick up Worship related items from the ministry center. Must commit to arriving at NT by 8:30am and staying until 1pm. The position is for one year and 10 positions are available.
Would you love to see children get closer to God? Are organization and details important to you? Registration Administrator may be the role for you. Oversee the check-in desk for our Kingdom Keepers Children's Ministry, including volunteers, set-up, and materials. Serve one or two Sundays per month at the check-in desk, before worship services. This organized, detail-oriented individual will team up with the Kingdom Keepers Children’s Ministry Director, making sure parents and children have an enjoyable and smooth experience getting checked in so they are prepared to hear a word from God. This position is for one year.
Do you have a servant’s heart? Do you like to see things run smoothly? Kingdom Keeper’s set up team may be the place for you! Support the logistical needs of set up for children’s ministry by setting up pipe and drape, chairs and a/v equipment. Arrive at 8:45am one or two Sundays per month on a rotating basis. This position is for one year.
Are you passionate about the Word of God and Evangelism? Teaching our children may be the role for you. This person must be knowledgable in both the bible and in working with children of various ages (2-4, 5-7,8-10). You will serve as a leader in the classroom and will provide direction to the teaching assistants and students who assistant teachers (SWAT). Experience in teaching is not necessary, but recommended. Training will be provided.
Do you love children and watching them grow in their faith? Teaching Assistant may be the role for you. Service and support minded adults will work alongside the lead teacher. The Assistant may be responsible to teach certain parts of the lesson, lead children in songs, crafts, and activities. This is a one-year commitment for one Sunday each month.
Are you a teenager sold out for Jesus? SWAT (Students Who Assist Teachers) may be the place for you to serve! You must be at least age 13 and must be ready to SERVE, not play or have an excuse to get out of service. Parents MUST approve an "application" for each teen to complete. This is a one-year commitment for one Sunday each month.
Do you love people and making them feel special? Greeter may be the role for you! This person will serve at the First Touch table greeting guests, directing guests to the sanctuary, bathroom, Kingdom Keeper’s check in etc. This person will also provide guests with a welcome card before service and a gift after service. Must be able to arrive at NT by 9am on Sundays and serve once per month on a rotating basis. Training will be provided. This position is for one year.
Do you like to make people feel “at home” and cared for? Hospitality team may be the place for you! This person(s) must consent to 7 hours of training in advance of serving including a field trip to FBCG. Must be willing to serve at 6 (Sundays) for church wide events per year in addition to 2 start/next events per year on Saturdays from 7:30am- 2pm. 10 positions are currently open. This position is for 24 months.
Are you looking for an opportunity to serve? Do you find audio, videography, and visual graphics interesting? We have an opportunity for you to serve the Messiah Community Church community through sight and sound. BEST PART...NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Audio Visual applications are the backdrop to all facets of our ministry at Messiah Community Church. Messiah Community Church is a cutting edge ministry that is passionate about utilizing technology and innovative strategies to enhance our worship services through Sight and Sound.
You can serve in the following capacities:
- Audio Engineering: Serving through recording, mixing, and reproducing sound. Audio - Videography & Production: Serving in video production recording and producing video projects at varying locations as well as producing our Livestream broadcast on Sunday mornings. This includes camera operators, tricaster operators, and lighting designers for different applications.
- Worship Graphic Presentation: Serving through projecting visual graphics during our live worship service.
Again, there is no prior experience required. We are looking for people with positive attitudes that are organized and team-oriented that can consistently volunteer to with the focus of serving God in excellence.
