What’s the connection between Crypto and DAF?
Let’s break it down:
- Crypto: Short for cryptocurrency, it’s a secure digital currency powered by cryptography. Venmo @MessiahCCMD
- DAF (Donor-Advised Fund): A flexible charitable giving account where you can contribute assets like cash, stocks—or even cryptocurrency!
Here’s the exciting part: By donating your crypto through a DAF, you can support charities in a tax-efficient way. It’s a smart, impactful approach to giving that combines the power of modern assets with meaningful philanthropy.

Hello, World!

Operation THRIVE

It's time to Rebuild the House of God.

At Messiah, we are committed to being good stewards of what God entrusts to us. Our beloved building has stood for over 30 years. It is time to create fresh, modern, and functional spaces that will enable us to better serve both our congregation and the community.

Your generosity helps us fulfill our mission to grow stronger together. By contributing to "Operation Thrive," you are not only investing in the physical renovation of our church building, but you are also investing in the spiritual growth and transformation of lives.

Our vision for the renovation project includes:

Phase 1

State-of-the-art facilities that will cater to the needs of all ages and enable us to minister effectively. We are excited for new Messiah Kids facilities, designed to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for our children to learn and grow in their faith.

Phase 2

A modernized sanctuary that can accommodate the growing number of people joining us, both in-person and online. This means upgrading our audiovisual systems and creating an immersive worship experience, too.

Phase 3

Beautiful event spaces that will serve as a hub for community gatherings, special events, and outreach programs. We’ll extend hospitality and share the love of Jesus with our neighbors, strengthening the bonds of fellowship and bringing people together.

As we embark on rebuilding God’s house together, we find encouragement in the words of Haggai 2:15-19, where God promises to bless His people when they prioritize His work. We believe that as we faithfully give, He will pour out His blessings on our church, our homes and our community.

Join us today in making a pledge or giving generously to "Operation Thrive: Rebuilding God's House." Together, we can create a renewed and vibrant space that will empower us to heal, strengthen and transform lives through faith in Jesus. Your support matters, and we are grateful for your partnership.

"We moved to Baltimore from Michigan... We had a list of churches that we wanted to visit and Messiah was at the top of that list. After visiting Messiah, my daughter said, 'THIS is the church. We don't have to visit anywhere else!'"

— K. Darby
